What is Counter Strike GO?
You probably know that Counter-Strike, currently CS:GO (Counter Strike Online), is one of the most popular multiplayer FPSs in the world. It has been in the spotlight since 2000 when it was first launched.
It was developed by NEXON Corporation of South Korea with oversight from license-holder Valve Corporation. The game is based on classic Counter-Strike and new modes. Some weapons and items are available to buy with real money or virtual points.
Gameplay
Unlike many first-person shooters, that require players to kill all enemies in a certain amount of time, Counter Strike focuses on multiple objectives. It's an exciting tactical game that blends fast-paced gameplay with precise strategy. It's simple to master, but it's difficult to master. It has become one of the most popular esports, featuring tournaments that attract huge crowds and prize pools that rank among the top 5 in gaming.
The original Counter-Strike was a mod for Half-Life and its popularity spawned a number of spin-offs. Weapons
CS Online offers all the classic Counter-Strike guns along with a few new ones. Players can buy weapons with earned points or real money. They expire after a set time period however they could be permanent when a promotion is on. Upgrades are available for the weapon. Weapons are divided into pistols, assault rifles, sub-machine gun.
The pistol is the cheapest weapon in the game, and it is able to kill a player with a single headshot. Pistols require good accuracy to be effective, but with practice they can turn deadly. SMGs are less expensive than pistols, and they have more firepower. They are more accurate than most rifles, however accuracy decreases when the shooter fires faster. SMGs can be very efficient on the battlefield when they are properly used.
Sniper rifles are some of the most expensive weapons, but they are extremely efficient in a variety of situations. Maps
Counter-Strike Online, designed by Nexon specifically for the Asian market is a spin-off of the original Counter-Strike game series. It incorporates popular classic game modes in a free to play online multiplayer shooter. The game is playable on PC and Mac. It provides a range of gameplay options, including bot support and a variety of game modes.
The game is always updated and has thousands of maps. The older maps have had new textures lighting, gameplay tweaks and lighting added to them. The majority of maps can be modified by using the Steam Workshop.
