Counter-Strike Global Offensive (CS:GO) is a first-person tactical shooter that set the bar for the genre and is still one of the most popular games on Steam. Gameplay

The game's gameplay is based around cooperation, strategic gunplay and grenades. The game emphasizes financial management and awareness that players earn money for every round they play. CS:GO has a variety of official game modes including the classic Bomb Defusal mode that was introduced in the first Counter-Strike game in 1999. In the competitive and casual queues for each game is when a terrorist group attempts to plant a explosive at one of two locations, and counter-terrorists must stop them, or defuse the bomb once it is planted. The game has a hostage rescue mode that is seldom seen in competitive matches as well as a mode based upon the battle royale game Danger Zone.

These characters are a great alternative for the map-based ones that are usually limited to specific maps.
The Operation Shattered Web Update introduced two new maps in addition to the Agents map that was added. One of them is a lunar outpost that is ideal for flying missions. Another is a jungle map, which will be home to Danger Zone missions. The maps are available in both casual and competitive matches.

Code miner Aquarius has suggested that Overpass, Nuke, and Vertigo could join the list of maps that will remain permanent soon.
