Best Travel Prams - Lightweight Strollers That Are Quick to Fold and Easy to Operate

The strollers that are lightweight are easy to fold and operate. The best travel prams also have a compact fold that easily fits in overhead bins or smaller car boots, and can also accommodate an infant car seat.

The BabyZen Yoyo2 is the pram that parents prefer to use for their children on the go, thanks to its super-lightweight design that's gate-check compatible and its compact fold. It has a fantastic turning radius and a nearly flat recline.

UPPAbaby G-Luxe

With a reputation for intuitively designed products that are both elegant and feature-packed, the UPPAbaby G-Luxe is an excellent choice for parents who wish to travel. It is extremely light and folds into an extremely compact size for transport. The stroller also comes with a front wheel lock that keeps it in place while being used, and a fixed canopy for adequate protection against the sun. It is easy to maneuver and comes with an ideal storage basket that can accommodate a fair amount of gear.

The G-Luxe, in contrast to the more expensive models in the UPPAbaby line, is surprisingly affordable. It also comes with a few additional features like a cup for parents, a holders, as well as a rain cover. It also comes with a handy brake system with one step and handles that are tall, making it easier for parents of all sizes to push, and a simple hand-level folding process which makes it easy to carry the stroller.

The UPPAbaby G-Luxe has an updated robust frame design that emulates the VISTA and CRUZ strollers as well as a fresh front-end single-wheeled design that improves maneuverability, and a bigger canopy that is more spacious with a pop-out sunshade with SPF 50+. It also has a large storage basket as well as a back pocket that is easy to access.

The G-Luxe was a top performer in our tests of noise, but it wasn't the top of its class in terms of performance and durability. It also had the smallest recline positions of our test models, and its rear-facing seats aren't suitable for children younger than two years old.

While the UPPAbaby G-Luxe didn't take home our top umbrella stroller award, it was still a close contender and offers many of the features that make our top picks so loved by families. It weighs 16 lbs and has a very small footprint when folded however it isn't as compact as the other models we tested. Summer Infant 3D Lite weighs 2 lbs less than the G Luxe and folds down to smaller dimensions. It's an excellent option for parents looking for a lightweight, compact travel stroller.

BabyZen Yoyo2

The BabyZen Yoyo2 is a pram that delivers what's on the tin. It is easy to use, light, and stylish. It's designed to be a part of urban life, and if you are planning to travel with it, it will work well for that as well. It's more expensive than other options but it includes a raincover.

Five Frenchmen created BabyZen with the intention of developing a stroller that was light that could be used in urban areas. The YOYO2 version is the latest. The YOYO2 is a unique folding and unfolding device that can be done by using only one hand. It is also light and compact and can be carried on your shoulders. It can be used right from birth and it has a bassinet can be used for newborns. Once your baby is ready to go, it can be transformed into a seat. You can also include a car seat to transform it into a travel system.

The YOYO2 is a great bike with suspension that can handle rough terrain and is easy to push. It comes with a large storage basket, and it has a zip pocket large enough to fit your wallet, phone, or snacks. It can be linked to other YOYOs to accommodate larger families. It's compatible with all Babyzen products, including a footmuff or a large shopping basket.

The only downside of the YOYO2 is that it is not suitable for long walks on cobblestones, or in parks. It's a smooth ride, but might not be as durable as something designed for more rocky terrain. If you plan on using it for short city walks or to run errands then it should do the job perfectly. The YOYO2 is easy to take in and out from the boot of my Honda Civic and it will easily fit in the footwell as well. It's also smaller than the majority of people's hand luggage, making it ideal to fly with a baby.

Summer Infant 3D Lite

The Summer Infant 3D Lite stroller is a compact, lightweight stroller that comes with a variety of features. It folds into a small package to make it easy to transport and store. It is the lightest stroller that we tested and is among the top budget options available. It is not a good choice for an everyday stroller because it does not have a bassinet or car seat compatibility but it is great for trips.

It can support a weight limit of 50 pounds and is able to carry the weight of a toddler. The seat is positioned almost flat to facilitate diaper changes or naps. The 5-point harness can be adjusted to three different height positions. There is a huge storage basket and cup holder for parents. The canopy has an open-air window made of fabric and an additional zippered pocket to store smaller items.

This stroller, like the UPPAbaby G-Luxe steers well on smooth surfaces, but can get stuck in cracks when we test it on rough terrain. The wheels are made of plastic and they bounce more than the average of our test group. It also has a longer carry strap than most of our strollers tested, which means it's a bit more difficult to carry in the event of carrying a heavy bag or a sleeping Baby Mobility.

The 3Dlite unfolds and folds down in only six seconds. There are a few steps to the process: raising the lever in the center of the back to release the latch, then pushing down the latch on the right side of the back and then pushing the handles down. Although these aren't the fastest or slowest time for folding and unfolding a stroller they're still fairly quick. It also has significantly higher handle bars, which can be a problem for smaller people.

The main drawback of the Summer Infant 3D Lite is that it doesn't have a complete sunshade. It has a huge canopy but it does not provide much protection to your child while walking in front of the sun. It does have an adjustable sun visor that does offer some protection when fully open, but it does not cover your baby's head completely.

Zoe Traveler

If you're looking for a lightweight and compact travel pram stroller take a look at the Zoe Traveler. The stroller is not only lightweight, but also can fold up to the size and shape of a carry-on suitcase! This is a huge plus in our book. It also includes a sun canopy as well as a console for parents and various other accessories like the ability to carry a backpack for travel with a single or cross-body straps, a kids' snack tray and a weather cover.

Zoe was started by a couple and prides itself on creating products for parents that are as useful as possible as their children develop. This is evident in their stroller line that ranges from a basic umbrella to an expanded double pram and pushchair with reclining seats. Their strollers for travel are some of the best models available, and provide the best value for your buck.

We tested the Zoe Traveler in order to compare it to other models on the basis of functionality and user-friendliness. We examined a variety of criteria, including the fold and unfold, storage, maneuverability and safety. It is a breeze to fold and unfold. However, it takes some effort using just one hand. It's not as smooth as its rivals. It's not the best choice for taller parents as the handlebars only reach around 40 inches, which could be uncomfortable during long trips.

imageIt is crucial to have enough storage space in your stroller, especially when you are traveling. This factor accounts for 25 percent of the overall score. The Zoe Traveler scored a solid 7 out of 10 in this category.
